Only two Kings County water board races on the ballot in November
Kings County voters will only see two water agency races on their ballots for the Nov. 3 General Election.
Unopposed incumbents will not be included on the ballot.
The two on this ballot will include:
- Laguna Irrigation District – incumbent Tony Thomas will face Reid Potter for the Division 3 seat.
- Kings County Water District – incumbent David Stanfield will face John Warmerdam for the Division 2 seat
Races not on the ballot:
- Kings River Conservation District – incumbent David Paul Stanfield is unopposed.
- Alta Irrigation District – incumbent Elliott Rossitti is unopposed.
- Consolidated Irrigation District – incumbents Kirpal “Paul” S. Sihota and Tony Lewis are unopposed.
- Empire Westside Irrigation District – incumbents James L. Wilson and John F. Hattesen are unopposed.
- Laguna Irrigation District – incumbents Monty Hoggard and John Oliveira are unopposed.
- Stratford Irrigation District – incumbents Kathy Neves, Dianna Griffith and Jeffrey Gonzalez are unopposed.
- Kings County Water District – incumbents Chip Mello and Brian Medeiros are unopposed.
