It’s unclear why certain members of the media were kept out of a water policy conference on Tuesday, yet the entire event was broadcast on one particular television station’s website.
Whatever water policy was discussed, it’s bad policy to invite members of the public (the media are members of the public), give out tickets and then “void” the media tickets at the last minute.
So much about this was mishandled.
Water is a public resource, administered by public agencies and overseen by officials who are publicly elected.
At any rate, here is THE LINK to the hourlong discussion between Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt, Cong. Devin Nunes and Friant Water Authority General Manager Jason Phillips
