Madera County to hold groundwater resource fair

The Madera County Department of Water and Natural Resources will hold a Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) resource fair Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Madera County Government Center in Madera. 

No registration is required.

Representatives will be on hand to answer questions and provide information from local, state and national agencies including: the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the California Water Institute, the National Weather Service, the Natural Resource Conservation Service, the Madera/Chowchilla Resource Conservation District and the Madera County Flood Control Agency.

Visitors can learn about the Madera County Dry Well Program and meet their local water resources specialist.

Dessert and refreshments will be served.
