Annual Kings River fundraiser held in new location on Saturday

The Kings River Conservancy’s annual Spring Fling on the Kings will be held April 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a new location, Cricket Hollow Park in Reedley.

Entry is free.

The event will feature live music, vendors and food trucks. Food sales will benefit the conservancy’s projects, such as education programs and trail maintenance.

The family-friendly event will also include river safety demonstrations and games for children. The first 100 children in attendance will receive a free life jacket rated for 30-50 pounds.

The event will be held near the Olson Bridge at Cricket Hallow Park by S. Reed and W. Olson avenues.

The conservancy, a nonprofit organization, focuses on conservation, education and public safety along the Kings River. The agency offers youth programs, monthly nature walks and monthly river clean up events.
